As a family owned and operated business for over 20 years, we have strived to provide the highest quality grated Italian cheese products to our customers. Our state-of-the art 75,000 square foot manufacturing plant is located in Linden, NJ. Our high performance, highly advanced production equipment utilizing the latest technologies allows us to establish and maintain an efficient and cost-effective manufacturing and packaging processes for our customers.

Who is The Big Cheese?

There’s only one Big Cheese – and that man is Anthony Caliendo, “The Big Cheese” at Milano’s Cheese Corp, one of the largest Italian Cheese producers in the nation. Caliendo began his journey in Italian Cheese after navigating through the 2008 economic downturn.

Always the master of change, Caliendo partnered with a little-known Italian cheese manufacturing plant in NJ called Milano’s Cheese – and he changed the game. Within his first 5 years of taking the lead in the plant’s national expansion, he doubled the company’s revenues while giving Italian cheese lovers better cheese at better prices, making Milano’s Cheese a household name. Caliendo and Milano’s revolutionized the industry by becoming the leaders in custom blending Italian cheese items for manufacturers, distributors and retailers at competitively low prices; offering deep savings for end users and consumers.

A key strategy in Caliendo’s playbook was to make Milano’s a recognizable brand within the Italian Cheese market.

That meant developing innovative products with fresh packaging positioned for retail. It also meant establishing strong, top-of-mind “in your face” visibility at national and global industry tradeshows as an exhibitor at targeted venues alongside top, benchmark competitors. Every year you can find The Big Cheese leading the team at top showcases such as the world famous International Pizza Expo, the National Restaurant Association Show (NRA), the Institute of Food Technologists Show (IFT) and retail expos such as the International Deli Dairy Bakery Association Show (IDDBA) and the Private Label Manufacturers Association Show (PLMA).

The result?

A sustained, diverse customer base, which has been the bedrock of the plant’s increased capabilities and expanding product lines.
Today, and true to mission, Milano’s Cheese Corp is a premier Italian Cheese manufacturer within the global market, with products in over 15 countries and 4 continents – thanks to The Big Cheese’s launch of the company’s International Division. The division is rapidly expanding as Caliendo continues to identify the best and most favorable international markets where Milano’s and their brands can compete.
AND…Caliendo is also a motivational sales speaker and author of the international best-selling, multi award winning book The Sales Assassin: Master Your Black Belt in Sales. JVM Sales Corp’s 75,000 square foot facility is an HACCP approved and operated facility. We have passed the stringent requirements of several third party audits with consistently high ratings. From raw materials to finished goods, our products are tracked, monitored and tested for optimum food safety and quality.

Microbiological testing is performed on all products and is inspected for adherence to specifications. Our well trained quality assurance staff ensures that products are produced safely and to specifications. Our production technicians monitor all of our production lines and perform sensory analysis, weight measurements, and metal detection.

Our Involvement

JVM Sales Corp, participates in annual industry food shows and considers it an integral part of our marketing initiatives. Establishing a visual presence within the industry by exhibiting and attending trade shows contributes to our overall growth and success. Exhibiting allows us to showcase our company and our products with personal customer interaction. This enhances our ability to target our prospects, make a commanding impression, and make strong connections with the industry’s top companies.
